Thanks to its generous supporters and volunteers, The Women’s Fund has made grants of more than $2.07 million to 144 unique nonprofit organizations supporting women and girls throughout Middle Tennessee.
The following 43 Grantees received a total $272,800 in our 2020-21 discretionary grant cycle.

Center of Hope | To provide therapeutic counseling to victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault to heal from trauma. |
Community Homeless Outreach & Support/The Brooks House | To provide mental health counseling and preventative and corrective physical/dental/vision exams and medications for residents preparing for independent living. |

The F.I.N.D. Design | To improve support/development for 75 black and brown girls to lessen the harm of adverse childhood experiences including Covid-19. |
Galaxy Star Drug Awareness/Nashville Peacemakers | To provide trauma release focused therapy for 10 girls in Back to Basics youth mentoring program. |
Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee Inc. | To provide an authentic and comprehensive Girl Scout experience for homeless girls and girls in unstable housing in Davidson County. |
Girls on the Run Middle TN | Designed to enhance the social, psychological and behavioral skills of girls, GOTRMT will implement a positive youth development program. |
Haven of Hope, Inc | To provide enhanced domestic and sexual violence victim services in undeserved rural counties through case management, counseling, and emergency assistance. |
Healing Housing, Inc. | To create 20 Welcome Packets of essentials that help residents succeed in their sobriety after entering the Healing Housing program. |
Hope Station, Inc | To provide rental and utility assistance to single working mothers with minor children in Davidson and Rutherford Counties. |
Les Dames d'Escoffier Nashville | Career Support and Advancement: Giving women in food, beverage, hospitality and farming the tools to survive and thrive in adversity. |

Palmer Home Family Care | To provide personal and baby essentials for 10 mothers reentering the community after prison release and/or reunifying with their child. |
Pathway Lending | Provide classes to 300+ entrepreneurs to help strengthen and expand businesses and access capital in troubled economic times. |
Refuge Center for Counseling | To provide 312 affordable counseling sessions and care to women affected by domestic violence. |
Rejoice School of Ballet | Rejoice Ballet empowers youth by training, nurturing and celebrating dancers from diverse racial, socioeconomic, cultural, and developmental backgrounds. |
Renewal House | To provide trauma-informed, gender-specific intensive outpatient addiction treatment for 60 low-income women, including specialized programming for pregnant and postpartum mothers. |
Renewed Eating Disorders Support | To continue to provide life-changing programs and support groups for those who are affected by eating disorders in our community. |
Rest Stop Ministries, Inc | To provide long-term, trauma-informed, survivor-centered residential restoration care to adult female survivors of sex trafficking |
Saint Thomas Health Foundations | To bring lifesaving screening mammography to 90 uninsured/underserved women in Bedford, Macon, and Davidson Counties through a mobile mammography outreach. |
Sexual Assault Center | To provide specialized therapy, advocacy, and support to 30 low-income girls and women who have been sexually assaulted. |
Stepping Stones Safe Haven Inc. | Provide shelter and wrap-around services to approximately 100 women and their children. |
Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence | Funds will assist with providing legal services/referrals to wraparound services for 15 immigrant sexual assault, domestic violence, and trafficking survivors |
Thistle Farms, Inc. | To provide housing, healthcare, and job training to women survivors of trafficking, prostitution, and addiction. |
UpRise Nashville | To provide career coaching leading to employable skills and careers for 30 Nashvillians ready to lift themselves out of poverty. |
Women Are Safe, Inc. | To provide shelter to 75 victims of domestic violence, including adults and children, in rural Tennessee. |
Wings of Courage | To provide emergency financial assistance and items needed for escape for victims of domestic violence. |
